It’s a chocolate pudding with a luscious sauce. It’s made from just one batter. It’s magical because we only make one batter for this recipe, yet it turns into two separate layer, a soft chocolatey cake base, and my favorite part a fudgy chocolate sauce!😋

Since I like choco-orange combination, I used zest of orange and orange juice to the batter which gives a great flavor to your pudding. You can skip it if don’t like. Follow my recipe and enjoy your sinfully delicious pudding with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream 🍨😋👌
PREP TIME :10 MINS
COOK TIME :40 MINS
INGREDIENTS
*250g self raising flour
*110g melted butter
*150g caster sugar
*50g cocoa powder
*1 tsp baking powder
*3 eggs
*150 mlmilk
*Zest and juice of 1 orange
For the sauce;
*200g brown sugar
*25g cocoa powder
*300ml boiling water
PREPARATION:
First of all pre-heat the oven to 160C and grease a baking dish.
Grab a large mixing bowl and whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and cocoa powder. Grate in the zest of the orange and mix in.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the melted butter, orange juice, eggs, and milk. Add this to the dry ingredients and mix together until everything is well combine and smooth. Now pour the mixture into the baking dish.
To make the sauce mix together the sugar, cocoa powder, and boiling water.
It may look a bit odd at this point, but it does work honestly. Pour the sauce over the pudding batter and baking in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Remove from the oven and you will see the sauce has sunk to the bottom and is bubbling to the top around the edges. Enjoy this pudding whilst it is still warm, and as you scoop a piece out you will see the chocolate sauce at the bottom of the dish. A big dollop of vanilla ice cream goes perfect with it 👌😋
